想成為一名UI設計師 從觀察四周細節開始

你是否還記得，當初選擇從事工作、就讀科系的原因呢？ 我的話，只是單純想和別人炫耀「這個很酷的APP是我設計的！」 我是Ivan吳嘉峰，一個非本科出生的UI/UX設計師。

前陣子不小心趕上流行確診了，我卻預約了一間偏僻小診所的線上看診，原因是：在我花了幾個小時摸索後，這間是我唯一順利找到、並預約成功的醫療機構。從這裡也可以發現：若沒有在體驗上抓住用戶的心，介面設計得再美也是枉然！

踏入這個領域如今也兩年了，從懵懂的外行人到進入業界的接案公司、從學生成為補習班講師…… 在UI/UX設計的工作中，我逐漸體會到這個世代的趨勢必然會逐漸推向完全仰賴手機介面呈現的資訊，故設計師的思考方式和決定，可能都會影響公司在業界的地位。

UI/UX是什麼？

UI（用戶介面）簡單來說是我們在手機上看到的圖像、風格、按鈕；而UX（用戶體驗）則是在使用後，我們的感受、APP 是否協助我們完成目的？

APP在好看的介面背後需要良好的體驗支撐，由我確診的經驗可知體驗的重要性其實超乎我們的認知；我也常在教學時帶入一些遊戲化或是創意的教學方式，在幫助學生提升學習動力的同時、也能創造更好的氛圍。

給入門的你

  • 悉心觀察周遭的事物，練習對體驗不佳的設計提出改進方式。
  • 培養設計的美感，了解 APP 設計的準則。
  • 找找受歡迎的 APP ，想想看是什麼原因讓他們被廣泛使用？
  • 嘗試接觸一些程式編寫，了解這些酷炫的 APP 是怎麼被寫出來的？
  • 練習模仿優秀作品，轉化為自己的專屬語言。

給想接案的你

  • 站在使用者的角度，審視自己設計出來的作品。
  • 練習精準溝通，抓住需求背後的重點。
  • 提升作品質感，不要對任何細節妥協。
  • 接受不同的聲音與想法，雖然他可能不是設計師，但一定是用戶。
  • 加入自己的擅長的元素或風格，將它化為你的個人招牌。
